Hello, I'm Caroline.

An intuitive, elemental artist living and creating on the beautiful island of Guernsey.

​

My working studio is tucked away within a bustling warehouse, surrounded by trucks, machinery and the everyday movement of our family business.

​

Perhaps not quite where you'd expect to find an artist inspired by nature, energy and the Five Elements. But I rather love that.

​

I've always been fascinated by energy, our connection to the Elements and the extraordinary things we can feel but cannot always explain.

​

My paintings are an expression of that curiosity.

​

I work intuitively, allowing colour, movement and energy to guide me. Sometimes I begin with an intention, other times simply a feeling, and I never quite know what symbolisms will emerge.

​

There's something wonderfully freeing about that process. Letting go of expectations, trusting what unfolds and allowing each painting to become whatever it needs to be.

​

My artwork explores the contrasts we find both in nature and within ourselves. Strength and softness. Stillness and movement. Transformation and grounding. The wild and the calm. But whilst each piece has its own story and meaning to me, I don't believe that meaning needs to belong to anyone else.

​

You might see something entirely different. Feel something unexpected. Or simply fall in love with the colours.

​

And I think that's rather beautiful.
